Palace Theatre:
Quick History: Ok, so this was a tough one for the experts. One expert seemed to think this village piece was based upon the Palace Theatre concept as a whole. However, another expert pointed out that after doing some research there are many Palace theatres found though out the world and the only similarity that they share is the name Palace and is not one large company. As a result, it led us to be unsure if this village that was created was indeed based upon any one of the many locations that can be found in many different locations around the world. When we have two experts disagree on one piece we turn to a third expert. The third expert felt it was indeed a real place based upon the Palace Theatre concept as a whole. As a result, it is indeed listed on the website.
Paramount:
Quick History: Paramount Theatres was first established in 1949. Paramount is a company that has theatres in many locations within the USA. It is still in operation as of December of 2021.
Parsons Furniture:
Quick History: Parsons Furniture was indeed a real place. I really don't have any other information about this place other than that.
PEZ:
Quick History: PEZ is indeed a real candy that is made. PEZ has been out since the year 1927. You can still find PEZ candy as of October of 2024.

Piggly Wiggly:
Quick History: Piggly Wiggly was first in the year of 1916 in Memphis, Tennessee. This grocery store is actually still in business in parts of the country such as South Carolina as of October of 2022.
Note: This village was is actually the O size for a train set. However, many village collectors add these pieces into their villages because they are close in scale to some other brands of Christmas villages, and they just look really good in the Christmas displays.
Pizza Hut:
Quick History: Pizza Hut is a real company that was originally founded in the year 1958. Pizza Hut can be found all over the world and has over 19,000 locations worldwide as of the end of the year 2023. The company is still in operation as of October of 2024.

Popeyes:
Quick History: Popeyes was first formed in the year 1972. It has grown since that time and now as over 3,700 locations as of the year 2024. It is important to note that as of October of 2024 the company is still in business.

Quick History: P-Town Pizza is a restaurant that is operated by Ree Drummond. It is located in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. It is still in operation as of December of 2021.
