Cabela's:

Quick History: Cabela's is a retailer that operates within the USA. It is important to point out that Cabela's was bought out by Bass Pro Shops in 2017. As of December 19, 2021 there are still Cabela's within the USA.

Side note: The village that is listed below is actually a custom village that was made by April Okerholm.
As a result this is not truly a real piece that was produced and is being awarded the Honorable Mention badge.

Canadian Tire:

Quick History: Canadian Tire is a retail store that is based in Canada. It is still in operation as of the end of 2021.
Chez Monet:

Quick History: Chez Monet apparently is a real place. I have to be honest and say that I have never heard of this place and could not find much info about it online other then the picture below. Chick-fil-A:

Quick History: Chick-fil-A is a fast foot chain that operates within the United States. Itis still in operation as of the end of 2021.

Chick-fil-A -Dwarf House:

Quick History: Chick-fil-A - Dwarf House was the first CFA that everopened. It originally opened in 1946 and was called Dwarf Grill. However, they realized they had something and eventually was renamed Chick-fil-A - Dwarf House. This location is still open and operates in Fayetteville, GA. The CFA - Dwarf House is still in operation as of the end of 2021.
Chili's:

Quick History: Chili's is indeed a real place that first started in the year 1975. It has grown to be a very large restaurant chain since that time. As of October of 2022 it is still in business.
Note: This village was is actually the HO size for a train set. However, many village collectors add these pieces into their villages because they are close in scale to some other brands of Christmas villages.
Church's Chicken:

Quick History: Church's Chicken is indeed a real company that started out in April of 1952. The company has over 1,700 locations across 26 different countries. As of October of 2024 the company is still in business.

Coast To Coast Stores:

Quick History: Coast to Coast Stores was a real chain of hardware stores at one point. However, it was then merged or purchased by True Value Hardware and is part of that Hardware Store now.
Coca-Cola Bottling Plant:

Quick History: Coca Cola Bottling Plant is still in operation today. There are various bottling plants located throughout the USA.
The Coffee Pot:

Quick History: The Coffee Pot is indeed a real place as strange as it might sound. It is actually located in Bedford, Pennsylvania. From my understanding it is still open as of October of 2022.
Coin-O-Matic Laundromat:

Quick History: Coin-O-Matic is indeed a real place and at one place had numerous locations across the country. As of 2022 there are still a few Coin-O-Matic locations in operation.
Convenience Store Distributing Company:

Quick History: Convenience Store Distributing Company was indeed a real company that was once owned by Marsh Supermarkets. It was eventually sold to McLane Company in 2001.
Cracker Barrel:

Quick History: Cracker Barrel operation today. Cracker Barrel is a restaurant and retail store. They are located all across the USA.
