Fannie May Candies:
Quick History: Fannie May Candies is indeed a real location. It at one time had a lot more stores open but over time it has closed many of those locations. It has changed ownership a few times over the years and the current owners have mentioned that they hope to open up more locations across the United States over time. As of October of 2022 Fannie May Candies is still in operation and has a few stores opened within the United States.
FAO Schwarz:
Quick History: FAO Schwarz is indeed a real toy store. Its roots can be traced back all the way to the year 1862. It has changed ownership over the years and does still have a few stores that are in operation as of October of 2022.

FedEX :
Quick History: FedEx is indeed a real company and was first opened in the year of 1971. It has now grown into one of the largest shipping companies in the world.
Note: This village was is actually the O size for a train set. However, many village collectors add these pieces into their villages because they are close in scale to some other brands of Christmas villages, and they just look really good in the Christmas displays.
Flapjacks:
Quick History: Flapjacks is indeed a real restaurant style business that has many locations in Tennessee. As of October of 2022 it is still in operation.
Flamingo Resort:
Quick History: Flamingo Resort is indeed a real place that can be found in Las Vegas and first opened in the year 1946. The Flamingo Las Vegas is owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment.
Please note: I am unsure if any of the pieces that are listed below are based upon the Flamingo Las Vegas. However, they are listed here just because I love these pieces.

Fox Theatre:
Quick History: Fox Theatre is indeed a real place that is located in Midtown Atlanta Georgia. The theater was actually originally planned to be a large Shrine Temple as evidenced by its Moorish design. It used to be a movie palace. However, it is now a performing arts venue.
Franky's Hot Dogs:
Quick History: Franky's is a restaurant that has a location in Illinois. It still is in operation as of the end of 2021.

Fred's:
Quick History: Fred's was a retail and pharmacy store that operated for many years in the USA. It first started operation in 1947. At one point it had 557 stores in operations around the USA. However, in October 30, 2019 it went out of business. As a result, there are no longer any Fred's that are open.
F. W. Woolworth Co.:
Quick History: F. W. Woolworth Co. was a retail store that first opened in 1879. However, it has went out of business within the United States and no locations are open any more as of October of 2022.
