Bass Pro Shops:
Quick History: Bass Pro Shops is a retailer that operates within the USA.
Side note: This is a very rare village and one that I have looked for a long time. If you have one that you would like to sell please send me an e-mail at Titus86@gmail.com.

Beekman :
Quick History: There are indeed Beekman Hotels that are located in New York. I am unsure if this village is based upon the name of Beekman, one of the hotels of Beekman, or if they are not related in any way shape or form. However, it is clear that this village piece is supposed to be a hotel so we are assuming it is indeed based upon the name or one of the hotels. As a result, it is listed here.
Bell Drug:
Quick History: This is a tough one to determine if it was based upon a real location. When searching for this there were many different pharmacies and drug stores that were named Bell or Bell's Drugs. There is still one in operation today that is located in Pineville, Ky. However, this is most likely not based upon this location. It is listed because it is possible that it is a real place.
Belmont:
Quick History: This is considered an honorable mention. Please see below as to why.
Quick History: This is a tough one to determine if it was based upon a real location. Belmont & Co. Department Store was a store that was featured in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. When searching for this there was a Belmont Stores 5 and dime store that came up. As a result, it is hard to say if this was a real store. The picture above is from the 5 and dime store. It is being listed only as an honorable mention, but based upon the research of this page this is not actually a real place. The Belmont 5 and dime was located in North Carolina.
Ben Franklin Stores:
Quick History: This is indeed a real place and can trace its roots back to the year 1877. This store is still in operation within the United States as of October of 2022. Ben Franklin Stores actually has played more of a role in the retail sector then most people will give it credit for. Sam Walton (The founder of Walmart) actually started out with Ben Franklin stores. Then in 1973 there was a Ben Franklin store that was converted over to Michaels. As a result, Walmart and Michaels can trace their roots to Ben Franklin Stores.
Big Foot Discovery Museum:
Quick History: The Big Foot Discovery Museum is indeed a real company that can be traced back to the year 2004. The museum features tchotckes from the 1970s Bigfoot boom, and the 1980s resurrection with Harry and the Hendersons memorabilia. As of the year 2024 the company is still open and operates in Felton, California.

Bi-Lo:
Quick History: Bi-Lo was a real company that started out in 1961 and operated in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. At one point this company had hundreds of locations across the South.

Big Chill Vending Machine Supply & Service:
Quick History: Big Chill Vending Machine Supply & Service was indeed a real company that operated in which you could either go and buy vending machines or get yours serviced on.
Blockbuster Video:
Quick History: Blockbuster Video was indeed a real place that was founded in 1985. It at one point had over 9,000 stores that operated within the United States. Now as of October of 2022 there is only one remaining Blockbuster Video that is still open and it is located in Bend, Oregon.

Bobs:
Quick History: Bob's is a restaurant that first started out in 1936. It once had over 240 locations located throughout the United States. However, as of December of 2021 there are only five locations left of Bob's.
Note: This village was made my Lefton which was meant for HO trains. However, many village collectors add these pieces into their villages because they are close in scale to some other brands of Christmas villages.
Boscov's Department Store:
Quick History: Boscov's is indeed a real place that first started out in 1914 when Solomon Boscov opened up the first location in Pennsylvania. It is still in operation as of October of 2022 and has 49 locations in the United States.
Boulevard Diner:
Quick History: Boulevard Diner is indeed a real place that is located in Massachusetts. It first started out in the year 1936. As of October of 2022 it is still in operation.
Bronner's :
Quick History: Bronner's is indeed a real place that has been in operation since 1945. Bonner's is located in Michigan. As of October of 2022 this company is still in operation.

Quick History: Buc-ee's is a real company that first started out in the year 1982 in Texas. Since that time it has grown to be 50 locations as of October of 2024.

Budweiser Brew House:
Quick History: Budweiser has been around since 1876 and is still in operation as of October of 2022. The Budweiser Brew House was real and used by Budweiser as well. This building was finished being built in 1892.

Quick History: Budweiser has been around since 1876 and is still in operation as of October of 2022. The Budweiser bottling plant is still open as well as of October of 2022.
Budweiser Shipping Office:
Quick History: Budweiser has been around since 1876 and is still in operation as of October of 2022. The Budweiser Shipping Office was indeed a real place that was used by Budweiser many years ago.
Budweiser Train Station:
Quick History: Budweiser has been around since 1876 and is still in operation as of October of 2022. Based upon the research of the Archive it was found that the train station was indeed a real place. However, there were not any pictures that were found of what it used to look like. The train station was even referenced on the Budweiser website.
Burdine's 5 & Dime:
Quick History: Burdine's 5 & Dime is being listed because it looks very similar to that of Berdine's Five & Dime. So, the info here is about Berdine's Five & Dime as a result. Berdine's Five & Dime started out in the year 1908. As of October of 2024 the company is still in business.

Quick History: Burger King was first started in the year 1953 in Jacksonville, Florida. Since that time the company has grown to be over 19,000 locations across the world. As of October of 2024 the company is still in business.
