KFC:
Quick History: KFC is a fast food restaurant that has been in operation since 1952. There are now more than 22,000 KFC located around the world in 150 countries as of July of 2022.
Note: This village was made my Lefton which was meant for HO trains. However, many village collectors add these pieces into their villages because they are close in scale to some other brands of Christmas villages.
KFC - The Big Chicken:
Quick History: KFC - The Big Chicken is a KFC restaurant that is located in Marietta, GA. This location of KFC was first built in 1956 and then had to be rebuilt in 1993 after storm damage and a lot of public outcry when KFC was going to just tear it all down. As of July of 2022 this location is still open and even has a gift shop inside of it.

K-Mart:
Quick History: K-Mart was a real company that once was one of the largest retailers in the United States. The last store was closed in October of 2024.

Kohl's:
Quick History: Kohl's is a big box retail store and opened it's first location in 1962. It now operates over 1,150 locations around the United States as of December of 2021.

Kone Inn Ice Cream:
Quick History: Kone Inn Ice Cream was a real location. I could not find much info about this business or if it is still in business. If you have any info on this business then please let me know at Titus86@gmail.com
Krispy Kreme :
Quick History: Krispy Kreme first opened up in 1937. As of December of 2021 it still operates many locations within the USA. It is the law in my family that you have to stop at a Krispy Kreme anytime there Hot and Now sign is turned on.

Quick History: Kroger is a grocery store chain that operates many locations across the USA and is still open as of December of 2021.

Krusty Burger:
Quick History: Krusty Burger is a restaurant that started out in the Simpsons TV show. However, due to the popularity of the show it led to Universal Studios to open up one of these inside their theme park in Florida. As of October of 2022 this business is still open and operating.
