Welcome to the Christmas Villages page that has all of the villages that start with the letter:

Lands' End:

Quick History: Lands' End is a clothing and décor retailer that started out in 1963.  It was purchased in 2002 by Sears and it became a large clothing brand within Sears stores at that time.  During the time it was owned by Sears it did have some standalone stores within the USA.  Then in 2014 or 2015 it became a stand-alone company and was no longer owned by Sears.  Lands' End kept a partnership with Sears until the year 2019.  In the year 2019 it was announced that the Lands' End brand would no longer be offered within Sears stores after January of 2020.  As of December of 2021 there are more than 15 Lands' End stores around the USA.

An interesting note: the apostrophe in the company name was actually a typographical error that the owner could not afford to change, and as a result they decided to keep the apostrophe in its location due to the cost of moving it when the company first started operations on the flyers and mailers that were printed.
