My name is Charles Titus and I am the creator of the Christmas Village Archive. Ever since I was a little child around the age of 6 I remember setting up our Christmas village every single year with my mom. When I was this young I would actually hide my Army men in the village. As I have grown up I took a step back from collecting until about 5 years ago when I decided to set up my Christmas Village with my children. All of the memories came back from when I was a child and I really enjoyed my daughters playing in the village like I did when I was a child. Now my daughters like to get their little figurines and play with them in the village each night that it is set up. It absolutely warms my heart to see them doing the same thing I grew up doing.
As I got back into collecting I found myself wanting to collect villages that were real or were based upon real places. I attribute this to being a History Teacher and love telling my daughters about the places that are real and the history of them. I then realized that there was a gap of information available about real places or for Christmas Villages in General. After meeting Shelly online in a Facebook group and learning so much more about Christmas villages I decided to create this website. I have many other websites also about different topics that just provide information about different interest that I have such as the www.KyleBuschArchive.com or the www.AAFArchive.com.
If you would like to provide information about a piece or a collection then please feel free to e-mail me at Titus86@gmail.com or message me on facebook.
Best Regards,
Charles
